After spending a few weeks relaxing during Winter Leave, the Coast Guard Academy Model UN team returned to the debate table energized for another semester of discourse. From January 28th-31st, the CGA MUN team traveled to Montreal, Canada for participate in the McGill University Model United Nations Conference (McMUN).
The CGA MUN team consisted of 2/c Dan Cahill, 2/c Jake Bertram, 2/c Allison Murray, 2/c David Van Sickle, 2/c Mary Kate Neatrour, 3/c Bohdon Wowtschuk, 3/c Brittany Fifer, and 3/c Kristen Bradley. The entire team worked hard during committee sessions, and relaxed during the nightly social events.
The next conference the CGA MUN team will be participating in is the World Model United Nations conference, which is being held in Taipei, Taiwan. More information regarding WorldMUN will be available in the coming weeks.
